A Big Question: Extraterrestrial Life
#11
I cant remember who created it or even the name but there is an equation for working out if we are alone in the universe and even with the most pessimistic inputs we can feasibly input we still end up with 20-30 other species in our galaxy, about 10 of which are spacefaring.
With kind of standard inputs we get about 500 Norm and 100 Spacefaring.
With very optimistic inputs you end up about 150000-30000 for both sides.

So yeah,we are probably not alone.

I think that there are other things in the universe and possibly even more advance than us

There are tons of alien life forms out there the universe is massive and so big it makes the probability of other life inevitable

That is something that some skeptics use when you see or are involved in a discussion about outside life. There was life before us, and there is life that can exist longer than humans, so i'm sure that there must be a more intelligent race out there since we are smaller than a particle of dust within the universe. You never know if there's a life-form out there that can exist from breathing nitrogen, or helium even. Each planet has a different mass, which means more or less gravity depending on it's size, so i'm sure they would even have a different 'build' than humans as well. Just opening the list of possibilities that we need to think of.

Completely I mean aren't they aliens... I mean they could have a whole new kind of cellular body system, maybe they can breath in and out in space like drinking water...

Or maybe they don't breathe at all lol Smile Maybe their skin just absorbs all of the nutrients from it's surroundings, and other weird things like that. You could really just use your imagination on this, since none of them could be proven incorrect. Maybe the government knows about an 'alien' type, that they aren't revealing to the public. But that does not mean there are even more that are completely different.

Everyone is saying the same thing: Yes, alien life does exist.

It keeps going and going.

People are actually having discussions on it though which is why it keeps going and going. Seems to be an interesting topic Smile
