Who here is taking the SAT?

I took it my senior year of high school and scored a 1496. Pretty average.

I took my SAT earlier this year, it is pretty impressive when you factor in that I am in 7th grade.

The SAT is basically short for Scholastic Aptitude Test, It tests things you have learned throughout your schooling and scores you based apon correct answers obviously. It is not the hardest test in the world but the higher you score the more likely you are to be able to get accepted into a better college.

You didn't take the true SAT you took your standardized testing. It is a requirement for certain grades to take it as it determines funding.

Oh erm... I am in year 9 but I am already doing some of my GCSe's

I took mine in May, and it was pretty easy. I had enough time to go over the questions that I had difficulty with in depth after answering the whole of the questions.

No, it is the same SAT that high school students take. It does not determine funding, it is part of the Duke Talent Search program and is totally voluntary.
