i use linux 9.4 (linpus)

i cant open .exe files and cant listen to music can any one tell me how to use it?

.exe files are for Windows and will not run on Linux.

Check this http://www.ehow.com/how_5027269_open-exe...linux.html and follow it. You will be able to run .exe files on Linux once you have finished downloading it.

most files for linux will be .deb or tar.gz. files i have the same os as you do lol
here's a link to songbird(itunes for linux)
http://www.getdeb.net/download/4460/0 all you hafta do is add a few addons that show in a tab when you run songbird.

install wine then you can run .exe no problems mate.

.deb is Debian-specific and isn't an executable binary.
.tar.gz is a gunzipped tar file - (Compressed like .rar .etc) and isn't an executable binary.

Just get alternatives like "iintens" said or use "wine" and don't whine, lol.

WINE isn't that bad really. Hell, it can even run some recent games. While I still used Linux, I could run TF2 and CSS under WINE with no problems.

Also, to play your music, you should download VLC. Here's the link:
