I've only had one console ban and it was for the original xbox, back then they just banned the profile I believe not the xbox. I've got banned from matchmaking on Halo 3 though, was forced to trade xboxes with a friend!

Reason? I'm ashamed to say this but I was banned for stealing Xbox Live accounts and using the credit cards on them.

I stopped once I realized how bad that was, then I got console banned shortly after. -.-

Can't HWID's just be changed?

Yeah this is the same reason I got console banned as well, but I didn't stop I just moved to the PS3 an threw out my Xbox.

i've had a gamertag temp banned before,but nothing like a perm console bann
