I disagree. The book just seems to demonize the word stealing.
When you steal something, you get to use it. You don't steal a life as you don't get to live it, (dis)respect is very relative, and your right to say no...there is no such right. To be honest, there isn't even such thing as rights.
And property alone is in a way theft.
