Plasma is freakin epic, but uses a crap ton of electricity.

I love my LEDtv.

I think Plasma 1080p's are better than LED tvs. Just my two cents.

It depends on what you want. Plasma's are good for fast motion (movies in) gaming or anything alike, and LED's are better for picture quality, and they last a lot longer.

I will go for LED.

The picture quality is awesome!

For gaming, LED for sure. I love my LED TV.

Actually Plasma is better for gaming because Plasma deals with fast motion imaging a lot better than LED

LED all the way, they last MUCH longer and are WAY brighter.

I can't be bothered to check 13 pages back, but if nobody has mentioned Plasma "burn-in" yet, you should look it up on Google. I have a 50" Plasma in my bedroom and if I leave it on a static screen for a few hours it suffers from a temporary burn-in effect.



Given the heat it produces, I also use mine as a radiator during cold winter nights.

That would happen with computer monitors as well. It's also the reason why I say they are designed for gaming and fast motion graphics. Leaving your TV on without any movement on the image will ruin your plasma TV btw. I knew it was a plasma by the gloss effect in the picture you provided too
