I would go with LED, I have a LED and a plasma, and I like my LED better <3
LED = Longer lifespan, better quality
Get LED, my old plasma had pixel burning problems cause of the tube but LED is the latest and I have had no problems with it so far.
i got an LED one and it's really cool so far. Go for it if you didn't bought it already.
LED last longer, nicer picture and newer.

Led, plasma isn't that good for some people. If you get my flow.
I'd go with LED as well, I think the quality is higher and I haven't had any problems with it in the past. Plus it doesn't cost as much for the nicer quality. It's what I'm currently using for my TV as well.
I don't see how people play games on huge TVs...
I have a 26 inch LCD and I'm fine with it. =/
I would say go with LCD.
I would definitly go with the LED.
