I'd actually go with a LED
Plasma is bigger, it's up to the user to determine whether this makes it better or not. It's certainly more expensive but I'm a sucker for a big tele so I'd go for a big sexy plasma every-time.

LED is light enhanced display, which is much much better quality than a plasma, more intence colours, looks great for action films;)
LED is so much better, Plasma is a rip off and to expensive.
LED is better for video games. The response times are generally close to the same but for plasmas the can burn pixles into the TV. When the pixles burn into the tv you will have these ghost images remaing even when your tv is off.
If i where you i would go with LED tv and not plasma.
I Have 4 Plasma And According To Me Plasma Is Awesome!
