I completely agree with you OP aside from some few things, your opinion is pretty much the same as mine. Although the new Xbox will force you to edit some of those pros and cons.

Well...
My PS3 Overheated, and My XBOX has gotten smashed/thrown/kicked/ and Banned, but it is still my best friend  PS3 is bad. ★★★★★ ★  ★- Shock! ★★★★★

As an owner of both consoles I have to say the Xbox to me is a lot better.
