Ya know when i was training hard in martial arts i really felt at that time my mind and body was in sync.
My confidence was great and often others noticed. That alone stopped many a fight from starting.
But honestly the physical side with the mental side really seems to put the mind back on the correct path.
Meditation often comes with martial arts training (depending on the art) and that also is a great way to get clarity in life.
Big things seem small when your body and mind are at 1. Well thats been my experience anyway.
