No you definitely have it right.

Once we get more and more HJT members it'll come into place.

Exactly. I'm sure over time and when the importance kind of goes up if you know what I mean (more members needing help) it will become more active.

Oh yes, definitely.

The HJT team over at HackForums does a great job, and i'm sure they will here also.

I'm not sure, but this is something I've looked forward to a while!

Would you consider "SF emotional support team"? I love being able to offer what I can. And people are sort of "my thing".

Sorry Omni but i would not like to see any.
This obviously is different from others but i really dont think it has any benefit.
SF should only need this.
Members who support.
Members who need support.
Guests who need support.
And finally me. Smile
Seriously though. I cant think of one good reason to have "exclusive" type areas or groups.
It invites people to want to get post count should that be a requirement.
Look reality is this. The current Awards system is there for exactly this. People that matter get the awards. Thus i have none Sad
But you see what i mean? Cred is seen quicker than a group. The fact they have first of all rep, then posts, and finally awards.
They really reflect what a "GOOD SF" member is IMHO.
I know i will get bashed for this. I dont post it for this reason. More because its just how i feel.

See i disagree.
SupportForums IMHO is designed around supporting others. Hell its the only reason i am here!
I dont come here to poach members as others do. Although i have accidently.
I dont come here to make friends.
I dont come here to make money.
I come here in the hope i can assist someone. Thats it.
But like i said originally. I know i will get ebashed for this as most here are HF based and there groups do work VERY WELL!!

I respect your opinion and I see what you mean.
But me, I come here for friends and for the community.
Not to mention to help others and get help.
