Candide
#1
(Sorry for short threads. Sad I like to make short thread so that I can respond to responses instead of answering a ton of vague possible responses in the OP.)

Last school year I read a couple hundred books. Most of them were less known books that I found in the school library.

I read a few more famous books as well though.

Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Carrie, Thinner, Phantom of the Opera, etc.
My favorite book besides the inheritance sage was Candide.

For some reason the irony and loss of the story made me like it even more.

The story is full of people dying, but then later the reader find out that they didn't die. Then they end up dying or having something terrible happen to them. It is very short and not very well thought out, but it is a great book.

Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts.
