Candide - Daniel Faraday - 08-11-2010 (Sorry for short threads. ![]() Last school year I read a couple hundred books. Most of them were less known books that I found in the school library. I read a few more famous books as well though. Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Carrie, Thinner, Phantom of the Opera, etc. My favorite book besides the inheritance sage was Candide. For some reason the irony and loss of the story made me like it even more. The story is full of people dying, but then later the reader find out that they didn't die. Then they end up dying or having something terrible happen to them. It is very short and not very well thought out, but it is a great book. Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts. |
