Mine is also so slow but it's working good now. i have just installed tuneup utilities 2011 and disables index function, done registry and hdd defragment , and disables some softwares from startup..

If you are determined to use Windows, you may want to look into CCleaner and Glary Utilities. I have found that these two help to optimize system performance on Windows machines.

I posted a link for the both above, so you can click on Glary Utilities and find out. Like I said though, it's a tool that tries to optimize system performance.
