Right now I'm currently using road running and firefox and took a speed test here are the results.

Second test posted about 5 seconds after first test finished.

Where you the only one on the network at the time???
What time of day where you doing these tests???

This can eliminate a few things Tongue.

This is normal since bandwidth depends on a lot of factors. It can be throttled at any point in your route.

My bandwidth jumps every now and then, but I usually have about 4 people on the network at a time :/

u use cable internet? if so someone else must be connected to net also...or maybe ur isp became a little bzy...
this has happnd to me also..
