It seems like you've been registered for long enough though. (Over a year.) I'm sure Sam was confused though haha
500 is a comparable number to the required post count to create a group, so I think he assumed before making that final last check to see what it was really about.

I was active for a bit on SF and was dedicating my time to HF. I'm active on SF now though, hence why my posts are going up.

Official groups get chosen by Omni himself after he deems that it's a popular enough group, and something that can possibly benefit the forum, AFTER it has met the minimum requirements he's set to even have a group reviewed to become official. Also, whenever he has the time to make the group through the ACP.
If you're just looking for a userbar under your name anyways, this group probably isn't for you, along with virtually any other group on this forum. It's not about the visual representation, it's about the member themselves.
