Aren't all MP3 players compatible with laptops?

I wouldn't be using applications at all. I only want to listen to music.
I also have an iPod Nano, I love it; and I only planned to use it for music since I have a Motorola Droid, which I use for all my apps, email, etc.
I love my iPod Touch, it's a 2g 32gb. I have about 1,600 songs on it (I know. ;D) and I use it to check my mail and I love playing games on it, its really awesome for long car rides, which was the reason I bought it. The only downside is I have 140 or so apps, and the battery drains really fast.
I like the iPod touch, but I personally own a Zune HD and I love it.
I would go with the Zune if your looking for quality
I just have a small 8 gig walkman as I do not really need an MP3 player, my car stereo has a 60GB hard drive and then I stream from my computer to my sound system or xbox.
Ipod = mp4?

If ipod = mp3

I'd say, ipod touch and in my case, iphone Smile
I have an ipod nano..and i think it's the best MP3 player!
