I don't see the point in groups. If you look at the groups over in HF, they are barely used compared to other boards.

Graphic Masters : 337 Threads

The Gamers : 165 Threads
D.S. Inc : 158 Threads

But threads in groups are more organised than those in subthreads

Groups are just a not good idea at this moment. The sections here cover almost everything this site is about, I don't see a point in groups.

Imho groups are bad. I like the concept of open groups, like facebook, but not requirements ones. The precedence takes place. Imho thats the last thing we need on SF, favourtism.

Open groups is the best idea on here. Go open groups!

If I add groups there won't be subforums for them. I'll consider it. I know people are into the groups and I'd like to think pleasing the crowd is sometimes a good idea. My best guess is that a Graphics Group would be next.
