I don't really see the point of groups on SF. If you want to discuss games, go to the games section. If you want to discuss GFX, go to the graphics section.

It's just a nice thing to have. A group image under your name that represents you is cool. I wont lie to you it looks good and I'm sure many other people agree with me.

No special privileges just an image

Then why do you have to add something to the forums when you just have an image...

I believe I explained that by saying that it looks nicer. It would look good if lots of members have different images that represent what they stand for and why they are here at SF.

I just think that MyBB has the group function in it for a reason. By adding groups we wont loose activity and it wont cause any problems (that I can think of) so I don't see the problem.

I suppose no inactivity would occur if they don't get their own subforums

It wouldn't create any problems by adding groups. It would just be a nice feature for a brilliant website.
