I prefer not to listen to music while I am playing games a prefer to hear characters speaking along with the sound effects. Having said that listening to music is generally a good idea when your playing racing games.
Well Yeah, I mute the game but I play my Laptop's MP3 Playlist.
Yes, I play music when playing video games, but only in multi-player. I find it pumps me up more and I can actually play better when doing so. As for single player, I don't because I want to listen to the storyline and follow it properly, music would just ruin that for me. Anything else in the game though, I play music, usually have a set play list to listen to, so I am not having to change the songs each time.
Sometimes, but not often .
I play music only when I am in chill mode or if I am really pissed off. I always have Eminem playing none of that other rap mess.

If I am in super concentration mode, then I turn my mic up and listen real hard without music.
When I play Black Ops and other online FPS games, I like to listen to some nice dubstep.
Not really
1. I can not hear it through my Turtle Beaches
2. It's distracting when playing, I like to constraint.
Playing Halo 3 and listening to Earl Sweatshirt.
I usually listen to music if I'm goofing around in social on Halo 3. Although if it's MLG, I perefer no music because it kind of distracts me lol.
When playing metal assault I mute all in game sounds and music and listen to itunes

I ALWAYS, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS start off with my first song as Tyler, The Creator-Yonkers
