The 3rd game is never as successful as the first and second.
From what I've heard, it's not going to be called Modern Warfare 3 it's Call of Duty 8 or something. It's rumored you play through the life of Ghost. It's like Halo Reach was to Halo 3 - the story set in the pass. Nothing will be as popular as Mw2.
I love COD and i cant wait for it. But this year, CoD has to fear the new Battlefield <3
Modern Warfare 3 is gonna suck, thats all I'll say.
The old IW is the studio that made CoD be what it is, and if somebody takes over (which they did already) it will destroy the serioes completly.
I think they will focus more on patching mods and everything to make the game fair and balanced. They will bring updates alot to make all weapons even so those are my opinions on the next CoD.
Black Ops is garbage, MW2 / CoD4 will be the best forever in my opinion.

MW3 wont be awsome if IW and Activision aren't working together anymore. All I can say is that I hope it better than Black Ops because I was a little dissapointed with it. It might have some competition with Battlefield 3.
This game looks great from the trailer's.
I preordered MW3 and can not wait for the game to be released.
