Doesn't matter, cops can't crack truecrypt, trust me on that one. It honestly sounds to me like you are overreacting, I very much doubt they are going to pursue you for whatever minor felony you committed.

I would change your ip (hoping you have dynamic) and reinstall your os on your computer to wipe everything clean!

I'm taking a course in college titled 'Computer Investigation Techniques'.
It's kind of hard to help you because you haven't told us anything about the crime you supposedly committed.
Dynamic wouldn't matter. The cops can contact the ISP and get the logs of when and where each IP was assigned too.

Reformat your hard disk at-least 10 times and you will be fine.

4. After you do Step 3 you will have some evidence too and tell them that your WiFi got hacked and so. If they ask the neighbours and everyone says: "No, I didn't do that" then you can say that maybe one guy with a laptop came and searched for a wireless network and chosen random which was yours WiFi and so.
