Trust me mate. I have the choice right now!
Yet i pay for VB and other components.
Why?
Because its better!
That simple.
Why do i ride the best bike you can buy?
Because its the best.

VB Rocks. MyBB sucks

I wouldn't exactly say that mybb sucks. Yes VB is better but because it is premium. For it being free and opensource it is pretty good, and a lot of features included. Its a great script. Just not a very fair comparison.
Vbulletin is very good because its a paid forum with more options.
But MyBB is fee and you dont have any license troubles i also like the layout of it better.
MyBB due to the fact that it is a lot easier to edit the source.
MyBB for sure, i dont have a reason why, its just how it is.
myBB for the win !!!
MyBB FTW!! Best and free forum software.
for paid forums software ill choose vbulletin
for free is MYBB rocks it
Some years ago(like 2 ago) I wanted to run a vBulletin based forum but now as I've found MyBB I must say it's better because I love all it has. You can also edit themes and so on and I like that a lot!
I vote vBulletin. The thing is, it has many more plugins/themes/etc made for it.
My second choice would be MyBB, but there's no set place to purchase and/or download plugins/skins/etc.
Well i like both VB and myBB but ill have to go with myBB on this one.
