I don't think the rep feature will be abused, only time with tell though. It is still early days here.

It's already been abused. In fact, my example about the GFX thing exists somewhere in the GFX section. It's what inspired me to suggest this.

I'd actually prefer not to see any more topics about rep. It should be like on HF, quit making topics on rep, and no more mentioning rep in your thread, period.

Then we won't have anyone complaining about the rep system every day.

Yeah I'm 100% with you on that. I keep seeing things like "no member should be without rep" when all they have done is introduced themself!

A few hours ago, I noticed someone having an argument with someone else that was on -4 Rep, and his first rep (positive) was from the one he was arguing with! (it wasn't an argument, it was a 12 year old brat saying stupid crap)
