I used to be a Gnome only person, that is until I installed Slackware 13/64 and now I have to say KDE isn't that bad a matter of fact KDE is really O.K.

Use gnome currently. Like the way kde is heading, but i think i'll wait a few more releases before switching.

Same goes for me. But I think the standard version of Linux Mint comes in GNOME. I have an application called : Gnome Do ( Or something like that ?!). Does that make mine GNOME. Btw, if have haven't noticed already, I'm new to linux.

No you can run KDE apps on Gnome machines, and vise versa. Go to system and it should say about linux mint or about kde or about Gnome

After trying both I can say I really don't care I mean Its just an opinion to some people KDE is better to others Gnome is better it just depends on the person.Pirate
