I Might Become A Teacher o_O
#11
If you think you're up to it, you should definitely grasp this opportunity. Keep everything at the bare basics, you could maybe dabble into CSS and JS as well a little if you thought you could provide some good tips. Also try and improve your site as much as possible before you start so you can use examples from it and show people what they will be working towards.

Best of luck with this, I hope it all works out for you.

I would do it, I have always thought about becoming a teacher, but then i remember how poorly they get paid.

It may be like that where you guys live, but where I am they get paid quite a lot, and even if not, it's more than what I get now.

Well, I'm currently in college right now. I've just been talking with my tutor and I've decided to go for it! Got a lot of work to do towards it now, so if I'm not that active over the next week(s) then you know why.

Well done BreShiE, I hope this all works out for you. How long will you be doing this course for?

I'll be writing it up as a book first of all, which should hopefully be a 6-10 hour course (3-5 sessions). That's just to get the basics done, after that I'm also going to go into more advanced HTML (forms and stuff like that) then a Level 3 for CSS itegration.

We'll see, just going to get the basics (Level 1) done first though. It should hopefully turn into a job too, with government funding to back it, I can't wait! Big Grin

Definitely a worthwhile opportunity. What happens after the more advanced HTML & CSS? Will you move onto other technologies e.g. PHP & MySQL DB integration? Or will you continue teaching the same level of code to a different group people? Either way, good luck with this.

After the HTML & CSS I'll have to stop. I don't know PHP myself, well I know the obvious few things (if statement for example) but not enough to go into depth.

What do you think of this so far? Just been working on this for the past 15 minutes.

I'm just doing a basic layout/look to it at the moment, when it's done I'll go over it and clean it all up and add an advanced layout to it. After all, that's what I'm studying at my college so I have to make it look like I'm learning something when I'm there. ;)

My opninion: I don't think you are very clear in explaining HTML. Try and sit back and organize your writing. Stick to the the chapter you're on, don't jumble on about opening and closing tags, then ramble about <img> tags being single tags, all in your introduction paragraph.

Confusing, isn't it?
