It sounds like your computer's too bad to run word, try removing some of your useless programs.

That wouldn't help unless some of the programs being removed coincidentally are part of the startup programs list.

OP: I see that you have just under 3GB RAM (Physical). What is available to you, is about half of that, but even then that should be enough. We'll help you use less RAM though regardless Smile

Download and install CCleaner: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Please provide both the startup.txt and install.txt files in your next post by following the provided instructions below:
  • Startup Programs (startup.txt) -
    • CCleaner Tool Icon > Startup option
    • Click on the Save to text file button in the bottom right

  • List of INSTALLED PROGRAMS
    • CCleaner Tool Icon > Uninstall option
    • Click on the Save to text file button in the bottom right

Also, if you're trying to access these word documents from removable media, like an external HDD, or a USB key, then try copying it over to your desktop, then open the file from your desktop to test. Furthermore, download my batch file here, and run it:

http://www.mediafire.com/?vsxkxszx20525xa

Also run System File Checker and ChkDsk.

Open the start menu, type "cmd" (without quotes) and hit enter with cmd selected in the start menu view. Use sfc command first, then move towards chkdsk. Each command should be entered separately, and make sure sfc finishes before you attempt to use chkdsk. Reboot afterwards.

Code:
sfc /scannow

Code:
chkdsk /r

If those do not work, these were my alternative to doing a System Repair through the repair disk that you should have created with Windows 7, which have been reportedly solutions to this kind of error.

You should have used code tags for the data.

You have Family Keylogger, and KeyScrambler? lol

Alright, but from what I see, you've got tons of downloaded stuff for security on your PC, and all of it in combination is virtually chaos. SUPERAntiSpyware runs on startup, and you've still got both ESET and BitDefender. That can't be good for RAM consumption.

So Bitdefender is still running on your system? Post on the previous thread then, no need to get this issue confused with something about Bitdefender.

Lastly what about System File Checker and ChkDsk? And did you run my batch file as administrator?

This is Good.

With this you're supposed to enter the option of "Y" For yes, then restart your computer.

Have you tried the repair function from the Programs and Features menu in the control panel? I was having a read about this issue and this was mentioned as working for somebody else. I don't have Word installed on this machine but if you go to Control Panel>Programs and Features then you will see a list of the software installed on your PC. Clicking on your Office package will give you some options. They can be a variety of things: Uninstall/Change, Uninstall/Repair, Change, Repair etc. You will want to choose an option that has Repair or Change in it. You will get a wizzard that should automatically repair issues with your office package. This may not solve your problem, but it has worked for others with the same issue in the past and it can't hurt to try.
