Best/Good antivirus?
#1
My antivirus subscription (Trend Micro Titanuim) is expiring in a month, and I am not happy with its performance. I want to get another one, so, which one do you guys think is the best?
I'm back on SupportForums after a 5 year hiatus.

I'd recommend getting AVAST.
If you want to be extra secure, get Malwarebytes too.

Hope I helped.

You might want to check out the antivirus thread here.

I am currently using:
avast! Free Antivirus - For active scanning.
COMODO Firewall - To keep an eye on the connections coming and going from my computer.
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - I scan my computer using this every once in a while just to feel safe.:P

They are all free and have been doing a great job for me. Of course the best way to not get a virus is to use common sense while surfing and downloading. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

My protection against viruses,malwares,etc:-

1. Kaspersky Internet Security 2011
2. Comodo Dragon Browser
3. Keyscrambler
4. Comodo FIREWALL
5. Zemana Antilogger
6. Malwarebytes

and additionally I also use Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 with Windows Xp sp3 Black Edition installed on it. I think I have a sexy layer of protection , don't I ? Big Grin

I like avira. You can try Avira internet security suit (2012) for free 100% legal with a 6 month license key.

I'd be recommending Norton, although you may experience a couple of false-positives it's still very good.
I've been using the program for about two years now and it's never let me down, unfortunately it's not free though.
Throughout the time I've been using Norton it's protected my computer from attacks numerous times.
Give it a shot if there's a trial version available, it's worth it.
