I got an iPod Touch quite some time ago, and they are pretty awesome. I would say getting one is the way to go.

I'd recommend buying. If you jailbreak it, you never have to pay for anything for it again, and the WiFi is really useful in my opinion.

I personally would like to get an Ipod touch 8gb, I need something portable to listen to music and chat on msn or something, Ipod seems to do pretty much all that so i for one am going to buy one Smile.

I have an Ipod touch. Sadly the first generation. I am waiting till the Iphone comes to Verizon due to rumors saying that ATT did not sign a contract during the beginning of 2010. Verizon has more money which means chances are they will end up getting the modern Iphones.
