I've gotten accustomed to using phpBB, although I hear MyBB is better.

What about it is better exactly?

MyBB without a doubt. It's super easy to set up and personally I think they look a lot nicer. And I don't think the forum software determines how popular the site gets. It's all about the content.

Well I like mybb a lot, but hand coded forums seem like the way to go, or really built up forums. They seem to have the best features and customization opportunities.

This is just my opinion, but:

. It looks better
. It runs faster
. Easier to use
. It's free
. More Expandable

MyBB is the way forward IMO.

Blackchaos you think exactly like me, i was after studentforums but price ruined my plans lol. I wanted to create forum for students where they can get some chill pills.
