2. Get a lighter skin, darker skins do not work for GFX forums.
3. Do not give out so much awards.
4. Get something specials, so members would like to join - Contests with cash or some other prizes, etc...
5. Loose the advertisements for members.

That is based from your opinion, of course they work for GFX forums, they create contrast which is a main element of Graphic visuals.

The banner is temporary.

Awards are given to those who deserve them.
Awards are given as prizes, but I do plan on adding something extra.
I set up the advertisement late last night and didn't get a chance to remove it for members. (Doing it now though).

Lighter skins make GFX look as they are, darker skins ruin the colors of GFX.
In my opinion, sharing awards with admins right away makes the forum look bad.
Not to mention, nobody deserves a award, when your site just started.

Giving them out right away will ruin their value and it will make members very cocky.

If you do not believe me, I founded a very popular GFX forum once, almost as popular as GFXforums.net is right now.
We got hacked tho and our tech fudged us over.

Who are you to decide who deserves an award on a site that does not belong to you. Thanks for the suggestion though.
