From hackforums... made a thread there and no one had any answers so i just junked the thread.. any ideas though? My mobo has max 24gb rams so 12gb isn't the max.

But it actually isn't about your Motherboard. Since you have 64 Bit, but you didn't mention your OS and what package.

If you have Windows 7 home premium (64 bit) the max RAM you can have is only 16GB, as well as if you have Windows Vista Home Premium.

Windows Vista Ultimate (64 bit): 128GB
Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit): 192GB

Your motherboard isn't the only limit for RAM. 32 bit is considerably smaller though. Unfortunately not many people need over 100GB of RAM lol Smile

The way I resolved my RAM issue was deleting another account which took up 95% of my RAM space. Try it.

Hope it's resolved.

What do you mean account? btw its not reading all the ram its not a usage issue

Saying you have 64bit doesn't mean anything, you didn't specify whether you had Windows Starter, or Windows Basic., which was odd to me, because that means i'm missing out on some information that you've posted somewhere else that others are getting.

The main reason for that post was also to tell you that RAM limits do not depend ONLY on your motherboard.

You still didn't answer what I wanted to know, but even if it isn't overclocking, you have the information that you aren't revealing for some reason, so I can't help you when you don't want to cooperate.

This has happened to me before. Try taking all of your RAM out and re-installing it, that did the trick for me. Good luck.
