How to make colorzilla work for Firefox and Ubuntu 7.04!
#1
1.) Uninstall Colorzilla in Firefox if you have it already there.

2.) Download the officially compiled binary tarball fo Firefox from:
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

3.) Close Firefox

4.) Unpack the tarball to a temp place, e.g.
Code:
tar xzvf firefox-2.0.0.3.tar.gz -C /tmp/

5.) In the terminal window type the following command(and input your password afterwards):

Code:
sudo cp /tmp/firefox/libxpcom* /usr/lib/firefox/

6.) Run firefox and install Colorzilla again.

Well done, These are awesome upgrades. I use Colorzilla every day for work and pleasure and didn’t think it could get any better. This is great stuff. ColorZilla is my most used Firefox-app. As a web developer with over ten years experience, this little plug-in has made life so much better for me – and this new version simply blows it all out the water.
