Problems downloading...well, anything.
#1
Hello, everybody.

Today, I found that I can no longer download files of any kind or extension. When I download something, it places the file on my desktop (0 bytes), along with the .part file for it. Note that the download manager window never pops up at all during this.

I've never had this happen before, so I was hoping someone here could help me out a little bit. I recently moved home for the summer from college, and this is my first time to get online using the connection at my house as opposed to the connection I had on campus. Could that have something to do with it?

Also, if it's relevant, I'm using FireFox 2, with Windows XP SP2.

Thanks!

Your connection might have something to do with it, but I'm not sure.

Try creating a new profile (for testing) and see if it allows you to download anything on that one.
