I've come to known that for memorizing things such as IP addresses or some kind of IDs that aren't too long, is to look at them, repeat them, repeat them with your eyes closed to see if you got it right. Type it on the computer, and write it down with a pencil or pen. That's how I've come to memorize my IP, all the computer IPs on my LAN, and my Steam ID by heart.
