need hlep in windows server

hi i am going rent space in windows server but i need some one hlep me for ask some thing befor do it if it can work or no

1) if i can use the windows srever like my laptop so can put there internet expoler there and use the sock as my ip not my real ip

Both Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 allow the use of applications, which includes Internet Explorer.
You can also use a proxy as well.
