Whats python ?

Well i know that SQL is for managing logins/ users/ tables/ and stuff
php is server side scripting..
Facebook uses python.. what does it use it for ?!
i dont know how to use python.. more of a C++ guy.

Well you should atleast look at it it's a very powerful language, and it can be used to write
Web applications same as Desktop applications

Python is a very cool general purpose programming language. If your interested in:

Network Programming - then try Python
Web Development - then try Python
Graphics/Animation - then try Python

Threading...etc,etc
