Computer dead by virus? Please help!
#1
FIXED
Here's what I did:
- Turned on computer
- Pressed F8
- Chose The last known correct configuration
- Opened cmd
- Made System Restore pop up
- Restored to last Wednesday.

But now I have another problem; when I try to run a java client I get an error: "Could not create java virtual machine" - Does anyone know how to fix?

Does it load up in Safemode? If so please post a HJT log that way so the HJT team can check it out.

I have no idea, I can't do anything. My computer doesn't work anymore, keep getting black screen once I turn it on.

Oh, I forgot to tell I'm on a laptop atm.

Do this.
  • Turn on computer
  • Keep pressing F8, BEFORE the loading screen
  • A menu will come then click Safe mode

Are you on another computer at the moment?

multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\hal.dll
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\KDCOM.DLL
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\BOOTVID.dll
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\config\system
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\c_1252.nls
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\c_850.nls
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\l_intl.nls
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\FONTS\vga850.fon
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\AppPatch\drvmain.sdb
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\APCI.sys
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\WMILIB.SYS
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys
multi<0>disk<0>rdisk<0>partition<1>\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\isapnp.sys

I just typed it over from my screen, since my laptop is next to my computer ATM.

Wait till windows start in safe mode. After that run HJT and paste the log in the HJT section, I am sorry but I can't help you with HJT since I ain't qualified.

Try reinstalling Java Runtime Environment.
Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
