Just buy from godaddy for 1.99 without a linked cc needed. Or go with namecheap I guess.

namecheap FTW. I have more than 16 domains with them. refund policy sucks though.

NameCheap. They're a really good provider with excellent features and an amazing support system. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone.

Namecheap is a much better alternative in my opinion. I use them because they provide FREE WHOIS PRIVACY which normally saves you a couple of dollars from Namecheap. Namecheap also has much more regular discount coupons, which are always nice.

lol this thread is more than a year old, and the OP hasn't been online for months now. I enjoy seeing that happen here frequently haha, I never forgot these kinds of events during my absence on SF. Namecheap is good though, i've heard about it, and i've heard it been recommended lots before even outside of this thread that somehow got bumped.
