CLFS.SYS is missing???

Yea as the topic said , i want to format my C drive and the only way i can acces my compuer is thoruhg Cmd prompt but it don't seems to worrl either . it won't load it stops on widows loading logo then fails and says some system file is missing , so i went to shop today where i bougt the HDD an they said that i should make a Slowformat incase there is some manufacture problem . and thats the problem , the C: drive is not showing up even when im in "windows recovery wizard" and when i type format C: it says like "no such drive installed on your system" or something......

Reinstall the windows , that's it

Reinstall windows or boot from the OS's CD and do the repair. Try accessing the computer in safe mode.

Use the recovery console in your CD to replace the file .....

Is c: your main drive that has the OS?
