Ok so if i try to enable apache to load 'php5apache2_2.dll' apache dosent start, saying cant locate or cant load. (i have checked the path and changed it many times, and am sure it is 100% correct) however if i comment that, so apache dosent load the php dll into it, it will start perfectly. Any help please as this is the first time this has happend out of all the times i have set up apache and php.

Assume you are running thsi in a Windows environment. Have you tried to just install Xampp? Very easy package to setup with apache, mysql, and even phpmyadmin.

Yes running Windows 7.
Thankyou i will try Xampp now and post back the results. thankyou, works perfectly.
