What should be done in the Computing area
#11
Did you read the post I have linked? It was made public later just like Hackforums' HJT Group was public before it was renamed to MRT. Hence all the Practice Logs, Tutorials regarding tools were junked.

Yeah I read that. But I didn't know it was private before becoming public since this is the only statement on it :

"As for the sub forum, I am aware that it appears empty in a sense. Let me inform you that it was one of our main concerns since it was visible to everyone and no appeal could make the administrator hide it."

It doesn't hint that it was private before, or it's just me that doesn't understand it.

Okay --
Code:
I disposed of all the threads to remedy the problem so the sub forum has no trace of activity except for the tutorials posted a long time ago.
  1. Hint of past threads
  2. They were removed by Paradoxum along with all the traces of sub-forum

Breakdown:
  1. Paradoxum, like any other malware analyst, wouldn't have posted those threads unless the forum was private.
  2. When it was made public, for the sake of those tools we use and you know how well guarded they are being a trainee yourself, disposed of the threads and Practice Logs that could pose risks.

Windows XP and Vista could probably be removed or merged into a section for older Windows OS's that aren't supported by Microsoft anymore.

I agree, but there's a lot of people that still uses Windows XP.
Also, edited the OP, we will need a section for Virtual Machines, I'm sure it will be popular.
