I think its a good idea. Some users are using anonymous feature to rep negative. Its not good as far as an Support Forum is concerned. Usually when members get a negative rep, they loose heart and courage and usually leave from here. I will go for this idea to add Thanks system rather to use reputation.

I think the thanks system would be better, it would also stop all of the negative comments left for people. I'd like to see this implemented to be honest.

I like the idea. But I don't think it should be anonymous.
The idea that is anonymous, and nobody will know who gave that - or + rep will make ppl give to fast + or - rep.

I think the rep system is fine the way it is, except for certain individuals find it difficult too judge what to -/+rep over.
