From 5Gb to 2Gb means you need at least 40% compression. That's hard to achieve.
You might try something that uses PAQ8HP8, check over here or NanoZip, check here.

hmmm not sure try winrar compress as much as you can then compress again. repeat...not sute if it works like that though

Check out this tool called KGB Archiever. it was used to compress for example GTA San Andreas from 4.7GB to 64KB.
The compression time can take you very long time it's all depending how fast your system is.

You could maybe also consider ZipZag, as it claims to have one of the better compression engines around.

It can also recognize over 250 different file extensions.

It can also recognize, files compressed on Windows, MAC and Linux
OS's and also various compressed game levels as well.

It is the 30 day trial, but may still be useful.

That is an almost unbelievable compression ratio!

I can't really think of anything other than text files having that good a compression ratio.

ZipZag is also a good tool!

Yes man it's unbelievable but TRUE, well GTA was compressed few times with tricks.. to reach 64KB.

The KBG Archiever has compression ratio over 100% Roflmao
But the programm EATS RAM during (de)compression.

yer... i personally dont like that KBG tool first of it does go ova 100% but is incrediably slow... 2, i dony like the format of it and how it re-writes how my zip files are open... 3, extreame setting i don't even think works... and 4, i just don't like it Big Grin

i would peferr to stay with winrar it's good enough for me Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

You can't have a compression ratio over 100%.
The percentage is calculated via (1-(comressed size/uncompressed size))*100%, so no matter how compressed you go, you can't go past 100%.
Eg.:
Uncompressed size: 10Gb.
Compressed size: 2Gb.
(1-(2/10))*100%=80%
The function has a lim of 100% (which it won't actually reach), but it can't be above 100%.
