Intel vs AMD

I would consider it in the middle end, because of the dual-core. A great processor, nonetheless.

How do you know his is a dual and not something else? I have an Athlon II x4 @ 2.6GHz. Actually nevermind, the answer to that question is probably obvious....Athlon II

Intel is quite pricey although the performance is good, AMD is better in my opinion and AMD is much easier to overclock. Intel processes are a pain in my ass to up the clock speed and they burn much faster.
I <3 Iceybunneh best friend and fun to mess with!

that's what i'm thinking too. well Athlon II is just a Family name. it depends whether its X2, X3 , X4.

im guessing its a laptop. since its only 2.1ghz. if its a desktop then surely its CnQ is enabled.

AMD is cheaper, although Intel has hyper-threading, and other features, and is known to last longer. I have an Intel processor because I believe it will last longer, and I just find that it has better customer service, too.

Both Intel and AMD have good quality when it comes to durability. it depends on the User entirely on how he/she take cares of his temps.

Detailed guide. Thanks. The thing is that Intels can be overclocked more than AMDs can but on the other hand, AMDs run to the same speed as some Intels do, and they have a low price.
