test it on another tv DUH!

if it doesnt work try to change ur tv settings

its the av cables. some of the plugs must be messed up. check them out

PS3 is pretty nice for blue ray players and stuff, I got PS3/XBOX360/Wii So it's all good for me haha lol.

PS3 By Default Outputs on the AV Cable .
If you have connected it through HDMI it won't show up , You need to change Display Settings by using it in AV mode first .

Before you probably had the display setting with HDMI, and now you are trying to hook it up with AV cables, so you should change your display settings.
