I didn't know what to add for a pic in the smaller box

I actually really like what you've done with it. (Text should be verdana 11pt though).

I like the gap, I've actually seen some userbars like this. It gives me more of a microsoft professional look.

I didn't use the psd though, I just took your original template and saved the png to my desktop lol. Then edited to my style from there.

I much prefer the closer one. The gap was too large before.

The way I did mine, I closed it just a bit so that it looks like there is no gap, even though the gap is around 1px wide. It looks more like there was a line "engraved" there as the gap.

I took his bar, and I used the rectangular marquee to select his template minus a little bit around the edges. Copied that to another layer and added the gradient. But I think thats all he was missing. He's a great gfx artist from what i've seen so you can give him credit for that lol.

All my ideas are inspired from things that I see, but sometimes I use my imagination to go onto abstract stuff. I like playing around with "perceptional" stuff so thats what i'm good at.

I think just adding 1px stroke to it would really sort it out to be honest. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
