Windows Live not working? Using nVidia?
#1
I found it quite shocking how a program like nVidia would be blocking the new Windows Live Messenger from signing me in. The error is,
Quote:windows live communications platform has encountered a problem and needs to close

Go to your Startup, and proceed to All Programs. Find the nVidia directory and click on Control Panel. Once opened in the left tab find the header Networking, and click on Configure FirstPacket Settings. Disable FirstPacket and login, it should work.

Really stupid solution when I found out. -.-
Took a lot of Googling to find it, but I know some users probably cant figure it out.

Thanks. Blackhat

Hello;

Do you currently have the most updated driver for your graphics card/Nvidia?

Hello;

I recommend you updating your driver at nvidia.com. And see if the problem persists. It's probably unwise to change the settings of your graphics as it could cause problems in the future.
