I got BSoD when updating AVG Anti-Virus on my Fujitsu-Siemens laptop today, just out of the blue >.>

Happened to anyone else updating their AVG?

Might be compatibility problems.

Why do I always get these? I had one the other day, after I hadn't had one for a good 2 months or so.

Go to here

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

Download Bluescreen view. They show you on the page how to enable your crash dumps.

Then when it happens again. Run it. It will show you the crash dump select it. The dll in red are the ones causing the BSOD. Now all you is google the dll name and see what application it belongs to.

Very simple and easy.
