I 've just uninstalled vb 2008 and tried installing Vb 2010 express edition. However, at some time, the installation stopped and wanted to restart to continue. When the PC restarted the setup started for about half a minute, but then a dialog appeared saying that some packages could not be installed. I tried to reinstall it many times, but always the same happens. Has anybody experienced the same problem? What can I do to fix it? Please help me, or I'll have to reinstall vb 2008. Oh, and I am using Win 7 Ultimate if that matters.

This option does not exist for me. It is automatically added to the packages that are to be installed

I would recommend you Visual Basic 2008 aka VB.NET
VB 2010 is not so good like it ..
